The rest of the world is welcoming the Tata Nano with open arms. The car is low on emissions, has crumple zones, can comfortably fit 4 people--it's the closest thing to a hybrid at an affordable price. Frankly, I think that if the US rejects the model, it would be in the interests of large auto & oil companies rather than US citizens.
