I’ve had Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Ford, and Suzuki and would consider that my order of preference too. My best vehicles have been Nissan, Toyota, Honda, and a Ford Aerostar while other Ford and Suzuki vehicles leave much to be desired.

All companies offer SUV’s but I don’t know if you are grouping them as “vans”. My wife drove a Nissan Murono rental for a while and really liked it. The Toyota Sequoia or Highlander are good as well. I haven’t had any personal experience with the Honda SUV vehicles but their other cars are generally reliable. We currently have a Nissan Altima as our family vehicle but we only have 4 in the family. If you are looking for one that handles older kids, the back seat may be a little tighter but the leg room for the back seat is actually very nice.

You can go to a Honda dealer and see if they have overseas delivery. (Many European car companies do and you take delivery at the factory.)

Or you could go where you are going and just buy a car there. You could probably get a better deal as other nations do not load their cars down with a ton of safety equipment and pollution stuff.
