Members of the US Navy have in the past been able to purchase vehicles abroad and ship them home on Naval vessels if room and schedules permit. This is done for not only automobiles but small boats, crated aircraft, and from
Iraq some military items. The Georgia National Guard had its Soviet Hind Attack Helicopters delivered by this way.
Suggest reader join US Navy for some shipping leverage.
